Bill 132 - Sexual Violence and Harassment Action Plan Act and Workplace Investigation Training, presented by Casey Dockendorff, Partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP.
This workshop will discuss the implications of Bill 132 on employers. Over the course of the day, we will discuss the realities of this new legislation including, but not limited to, how existing policies should be amended, who should investigate harassment complaints, confidentiality requirements vs. disclosure obligations, and best practices for investigations. The second half of the workshop will focus on case studies and scenarios which will provide practical examples of what to do, and what not to do while investigating complaints of workplace harassment.
